Perugia Social Photo Fest | Villa Fidelia Spello | 10 -18 November 2012
The 2012 Umbrian edition of the Social Photo Fest has been hosted in the beautiful setting of Villa Fidelia Spello. The current complex of Villa Fidelia is built upon a sacred foundation dating to the classical period and was strongly influenced by its layout. In fact, despite the buildings and gardens added at later times, the impression of the ancient sanctuary influenced construction work and subsequent renovations to the point that the complex now appears as a single work, rather than appearing fragmented and disconnected. The sacred complex is said to date back to the late Republican era, even if, according to Hispellum’s Constantinian Rescript, its final shape can probably be attributed to the fourth century.
