“Have a nice holiday”
This photographic work was born on a long,
sunny afternoon of an ordinary summer.
Walking with sweating hands, a ToyCamera in my pocket
and a song by the Kinks in the air
made me feel light hearted.
Walking without a destination
waiting for something to happen,
giving back to other people the value of a look that is free from commitments;
the sensation of an anxious freedom of vision
just like a child who sees a circus for the first time.
Those are fragmented visions of the slowest part of the summer which follow one another, and sometimes run after each other
and close themselves into suspended short stories.
